What is a beauceron?
The Beauceron is a very old breed developed in France, first mentioned in the late 1500’s. It is a general purpose breed, originally developed to guard the farm and herd sheep and cattle, as well as protecting the home and family. This outstanding Beauceron litter comes from a world-class pedigree, sired by our IGP3-titled male Gilli, demonstrating superior working ability, intelligence, and drive. IGP tests dogs in tracking, obedience, and protection work, and Gilli has been titled to the highest level of these tests. Not to be outdone, the dam of the litter has excelled in herding on a working farm. We expect puppies to be excellent active family companions, and some puppies to be suitable for protection work, bite sports, herding, and a variety of performance sports.
